just finished reading abot 30 more pages of The Stranger for a summer reading assignment, but is it just me or have ALL the summer books from 9th and now 10th include some type of sexual content?! I mean, for freshmen year i read My Antonia and Cat on a hot tin roof. My antonia actually didn't have any explicit content what so ever, but it was the hardest book to finish considering it was about the usual boring lost love. Cat on a hot tin roof on the other hand, whoowee. One of the main characters was practically a crazy in the head female pedofile. Seduced a 17 year old student, got fired as a teacher. In the end, got raped by her brother in law while visiting her sister. For this summer i had to read Siddartha and The Stranger. Siddartha, eh. the worst it could come to was basicly rushing into a relationship with some goddess-like woman, conceiving a child, and abandoning them. The stranger on the other hand, it's much like cat on a hot tin roof. Freaking, theres literally been a number of lines in the book that've said "i wanted to do her." Crazy, crazy. lol. Can't we just read normal love stories? preferably those like korean dramas ^^"
